View of the Frontage: Standing on the riverside street, it is easy to appreciate the tranquil and serene view that encompasses the Faber’s Island.

View of the Town: Standing at the edge of the New River Bank, land marks such as the Burgos House, the Catholic Church, the Convent of the Nuns and the La Inmaculada School which all face the Riverside street are most prominent and stately.

A Recent Major Advantage: The By-Pass road just recently built and which runs parallel to the San Miguel Creek behind the Island makes the island easily accessible by road. The distance between the creek and the By-Pass is 400 yards more or less.

Description of Island: The Faber’s Island in the New River comprises of 75 acres and is confined between the New River and the branch of that river known as the San Miguel Creek. Directly in front of the New River and opposite the Faber’s Island is the progressive Orange Walk Town. The Faber’s Island is firm and high land with a projected frontage towards the town. The frontage is about 500 ft and then extends up the river in an easterly direction for approximately 3,000 ft up to the junction of the San Miguel Creek and the New River.

San Miguel Creek: The creek branches from the New River in the East and meets the New River again in the North directly opposite La Inmaculada School. The creek is wide in some places and in some places it narrows to five feet.
